Viking Clothing & Asgardian Clothing for Men and Women
Discover our medieval Viking clothing collection, featuring Norse-inspired apparel and costume pieces for history enthusiasts, reenactors, LARP players and Viking culture fans. Our Viking clothing range includes pieces for men and women, combining Viking Age inspiration with comfortable, wearable designs, so you can build a complete Viking outfit from head to toe.
What Did People Wear in the Viking Age?
In the Viking Age (roughly 793 to 1066 AD), everyday Viking clothing was made from linen or wool. Linen was cool and soft against the skin, so it was used for undershirts and dresses, while wool kept people warm through long Scandinavian winters and was used for tunics, trousers, cloaks and overdresses. Men usually wore a knee-length tunic over trousers with a belt, and women wore a long linen underdress beneath a wool apron dress.
Clothing also showed social status. Wealthy Norse families could afford brightly dyed fabrics, fine embroidery, fur trims and decorated belts and brooches, while poorer people wore plain, undyed linen or wool. The richer the colors and details, the higher the social status of the person wearing them.
Viking Clothing for Men
Our Viking clothing for men starts with a men’s Viking tunic in breathable linen with a lace-up neckline, the foundation of almost every Viking and Renaissance look. Add a riveted faux leather armor skirt and a leather bracer to turn a simple tunic into a warrior Viking outfit for men, ready for LARP, cosplay or a reenactment weekend.
Viking Clothing for Women
Our women’s range includes Renaissance dresses, lace-up peasant maxi dresses, Celtic Viking tunic dresses and a medieval gothic corset vest. These pieces work for Renaissance fairs, Viking festivals, cottagecore and fantasy styling, and themed parties, and they pair well with bracers and other accessories from the collection.
Build Your Viking Outfit
A great Viking outfit is built in layers, just as it was in the Viking Age: start with a tunic or dress, then add a corset, armor skirt or leather bracer. Fur-trimmed accessories and leather details add the rich look once reserved for people of high social status.
