7-Piece Damascus Knife Set With Red Resin Burl Wood Handles

This 7-piece Damascus kitchen knife set from ASC Forge surrounds a Japanese VG10 steel core with 33 layers of Damascus on each side, hardened to HRC 60–62 for strong edge retention. The red resin burl wood handles make this Damascus knife set a bold centerpiece for USA kitchens and a reliable companion for everyday use in the kitchen.

67-Layer Damascus Steel for Exceptional Sharpness and Hardness

Each blade is forged from 67-layer Damascus steel: multiple layers of steel folded around a hard VG10 core. The core gives the edge exceptional hardness at HRC 60–62, while the softer outer layers add toughness, protect the core and create the flowing Damascus pattern. Together with a 15-degree edge in the Japanese tradition, the result is exceptional sharpness for fast, precise chopping, slicing and dicing.

Selected Materials, Built for Everyday Use in the Kitchen

Every knife is made from selected materials: Japanese VG10 steel, layered Damascus cladding and stabilised red resin burl wood. Every handle has a one-of-a-kind design, so no two handles are the same, and the contoured grip is shaped for comfort during longer prep sessions. From breaking down a chicken with the cleaver to filleting fish and slicing bread, this Damascus knife set covers every task of everyday use in the kitchen.

A Thoughtful Gift for Home Cooks

Every knife comes with a custom-fit sheath, and the set includes an insert explaining what each knife is for, which makes it a thoughtful wedding gift, housewarming gift or holiday gift for a serious home cook.
