This 8-piece Japanese-style kitchen knife set from ASC Forge is made from high-carbon steel and finished with brilliant cerulean blue resin handles. Each blade has a laser-etched Damascus pattern, a Damascus-style look rather than layered Damascus steel. It is built for both home cooks and working kitchens across the USA.
The knives are heat-treated and sharpened, with a 15-degree edge for quick, precise cuts compared with the 20–25 degree edge on many Western knives. A finger guard on each knife adds protection while you work.
The set includes an insert that explains each knife's job, which makes it a bright, practical housewarming gift, wedding gift, birthday gift, or holiday gift.
